Starting from June 2, 2025, Emirates airline will operate a flight route connecting Middle Eastern countries, major cities in Europe and the US to Da Nang, with a frequency of 4 flights per week.
On March 3, Emirates Airlines announced the launch of four weekly flights to Da Nang (Vietnam) and three weekly flights to Siem Reap (Cambodia), with a transfer in Bangkok (Thailand).
Da Nang is the third destination in Vietnam selected by Emirates to operate flight routes, following Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Round-trip flights to Da Nang will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft featuring two cabin classes, with 35 business class seats and 368 economy class seats.
Mr. Adnan Kazim, Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, stated: “Vietnam holds a strategic role in Emirates’ Southeast Asia network. The expansion to Da Nang as the third destination in Vietnam takes place at a favorable time, right after the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the UAE and Vietnam was signed. We believe this new route will enhance bilateral trade relations and economic cooperation between the two countries. We sincerely thank our local partners as well as Da Nang International Airport for their support.”
According to Emirates, the flight schedule will be optimized to facilitate the easy transport of passengers from major European cities such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, Manchester, Milan, Rome, or major cities in the United States to Da Nang. In particular, Emirates’ launch of the route to Da Nang also easily connects wealthy clientele from the Middle East to the Han River city.
According to the schedule released by the airline, flight EK370 will depart from Dubai at 9:00 AM (local time) and arrive in Bangkok (Thailand) at 6:25 PM (local time). It will then leave Bangkok at 8:10 PM (local time) and land in Da Nang at 9:50 PM (local time).
In the opposite direction, flight EK371 will leave Da Nang at 11:30 PM to arrive in Bangkok at 1:10 AM (local time), and then depart at 3:40 AM (local time) to land in Dubai at 6:50 AM (local time). Passengers flying on Emirates flights will enjoy world-class airline experiences, with regional-inspired cuisine and premium beverages served across all classes. The airline’s entertainment system, which has won awards, offers an “in-flight cinema” with over 6,500 channels including movies, TV shows, music, podcasts, and games in more than 40 languages.
Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of Da Nang Tourism Department, believes that Emirates opening a direct flight route to Da Nang will create opportunities to promote the city to 150 countries and territories. This will also help attract and serve tourists while preparing for the conditions necessary for connectivity, trade, and business as Da Nang operates as an international financial center and a free trade zone.
